County-wide Fifth Sunday Singing

Continuing the tradition begun in Chattooga County over 100 years ago, vocalists and musicians from local churches will gather on the fifth Sunday evening of this month for a time of congregational singing as well as solo and choral group performances. This month’s musical event will be hosted by Summerville First Baptist Church on October 29th beginning at 6 PM, with singing continuing until 7:30.

Connect City Launching “Celebrate Recovery”

Connect City Church in Summerville, GA, is launching Celebrate Recovery this Friday night (October 13th) at 6:00 with a meal, followed by worship at 7:00 and small groups at 8:00. CR is a Christ-centered program that helps people overcome their hurts, hang-ups, and habits. The program was started 25 years ago at Saddleback Church by showing people the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process and is now in over 29,000 churches worldwide.
