Have you ever thought about growing some extra vegetables for profit, but your not sure exactly what you need to do? The Chattooga County Young Farmers will be holding their regular monthly meeting coming up later this week, and Young Farmer Director Barry Bailey says that this month the meeting’s topic will be growing vegetables for profit.
Tony Scoggins will be speaking at this month’s meeting of the Chattooga County Young Farmers and will be talking about how you can grow vegetables for extra income. The informative meeting will take place on Thursday, March 15 at 7 PM at the Chattooga County Agricultural Building off of Highway 100 in Summerville.
A meal will be served consisting of hamburgers, hot dogs and boiled corn. The meal is $5 for Young Farmer members and $7 for non-members.
