Early voting ends tomorrow at 5 PM in the upcoming SPLOST (special local option sales tax) election in Chattooga County. Chattooga County voters are deciding if they want to keep a one-cent sales tax that helps to fund infrastructure projects for the county and municipalities.
As of yesterday at 5 PM, 351 voters had cast their ballots at the Registrar Office, with 22 voting yesterday.
Voting continues through tomorrow Friday until 5 PM at the Registrar Office, located on Commerce Street just south of the Chattooga County Courthouse.
Election Day is March 19th. On Election Day, voters must vote in their designated polling place; there will be no voting at the Registrar Office on Election Day.
