Georgia’s “Hands Free Law” will be in place in just a couple of weeks, and state and local law enforcement are promising that they will enforce the new law.  The law says that you can not have a phone in their hand or use any part of their body to support their phone while operating a motor vehicle in Georgia.  The law includes talking on the phone, texting and using social media while driving.  Also, you cannot have your cellphone in your hand at a stop sign or a red light.  Below you will find all the information you need about the new “Hands Free Law.”
