Use of Helicopters Yields Drug Arrests in Chattooga County PDF Print E-mail

Georgia Governor's Drug Task Force Helicopters in the air Wednesday yielded 27 marijuana plants in different areas of the county and two arrests so far.

According to Chattooga County Sheriff John Everett, local Drug Task Force officers seized plants valued at $96,000 to $228,000. 20 plants were found on Mustang Drive, 3 on Harrisburg Rd., and 4 on Maverick Dr.

Arrested was Paul Combs of Mustang Dr., and Charles Lecker of Maverick Dr.At least one more arrest is expected.
