Floyd County police Pfc. Wendall Flood said Angela Worsham of 275 West Union Road was last seen Saturday by her ex-husband at Food Lion, 3365 Martha Berry Highway, between 7 and 8 p.m.

“She was going to rent a movie and head home,” said Flood.

Worsham then hopped into her 2005 Volkswagen Jetta alone and turned left out of the parking lot to head home, added Flood. “We have no other direction of travel or destination.”

She was wearing a hot pink long-sleeved top, blue jeans and black high heels.

Flood said it’s believed that Worsham has a history of disappearing and that she isn’t in immediate danger.

“Her mother said she’s done this before,” he added.

Police have registered her as a missing person and have reported her car missing through the Georgia Crime Information Center.

Anyone with information about Worsham’s whereabouts is urged to call 911.
