Rome Police Catch Shoplifter - Buy Him Food PDF Print E-mail

On Sunday, the Rome Police Department posted on social media about two of their officers that caught a suspected shoplifter.

According to the Rome Police Department, Lieutenant Walters and Officer Bronson caught a fourtee-year-old boy shoplifting candy at a Rome store.  The boy gave the candy back.  The two officers then found out when they took him home, that the boy had no food in his house.

The two officers decided to take the boy grocery shopping and bought him over $50 worth of groceries.
