The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Lake Winnepesaukah recruit more than 250 full-time, seasonal workers for the amusement park in Rossville.

The recruitments will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18-19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the park located at 1730 Lakeview Drive in Rossville.

The company is recruiting for a variety of jobs, including ride and game operators, food service workers and lifeguards.

The park is scheduled to open on Thursday, May 4, and will remain operational through Saturday, Oct. 28.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and can work up to six days a week, including weekends.

Salaries will depend on the position and experience.

Next month, there will be a specific recruitment for the lifeguard positions. Applicants are encouraged to apply now, if they are interested.

For more information about the jobs, or to apply online, visit employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload, or prepare, a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account expedites the interview process.

For more information about the recruitment, contact the GDOL’s Dalton Career Center at (706) 272-2301. The career center, located at 1406 Chattanooga Ave., is open to serve the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.
