Last week, WZQZ News told you about a Northwest Georgia insurance salesman who had scammed several customers out of thousands of dollars.  He is now in custody.

Forty-one-year-old Kevin Miles is accused of pocketing more the $75,000 in customer payments.  He was selling burial insurance out of a nursing home with locations in LaFayette and Fort Oglethorpe.  Authorities believe that Miles would collect insurance payments for policies and then divert the money to his own account.

Catoosa County had been investigating Miles for some time after complaints about his practices.  He is facing charges of theft by deception and exploitation of the elderly.

He was found and arrested in Cherokee, North Carolina this week.
