Mr. William Farrill “Fuzz” Anderson, age 74 of Lyerly, Georgia passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at the UAB Medical Center.

Mr. Anderson was born in Summerville, Georgia on January 28, 1944, son of the late James Perry Anderson and Ola Floyd Anderson.  He was a member of the Perennial Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and the OASIS Club.  He was a member of the Lyerly Masonic Lodge, the Chattooga Shrine Club, and the The Yaarab Shrine Temple.  Mr. Anderson was a former Member of the Chattooga County Board of Education, and prior to retirement, was employed in property management with Bank of America.  Among his many activities following his retirement, he enjoyed carpentry, anything that had to do with guns, hanging out with the crew at Pine Ridge Outdoors, but his greatest activity was spending time with his grandchildren.  Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his sisters, Jessie Powell, Sally Espy Kinsey, Shirley Woodall and Myrel White; and brothers, Bud Anderson, Charles Anderson and Rick Copeland.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Brenda Underwood Anderson; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Bobby Chisolm, Lisa and Tim Blackmon, and Sonya and Jeff Osborne; son and daughter-in-law, Farrill and Amy Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Lois Anderson; sister, Emma Lou Pullen; grandchildren, Blake Chisolm, Ashleigh Skelton, Dexter Blackmon, Avery Anderson, Ansley Osborne, Eva Osborne, Aiden Osborne and Austin Anderson; 7 great grandchildren; special friends, Raymond and Pam Ware and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Anderson will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Perennial Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Pastor James Coffman officiating.

Pallbearers will be Blake Chisolm, Dexter Blackmon, Avery Anderson, Austin Anderson, Evan Osborne, Aiden Osborne, Trey Skelton and James Mobbs.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Raymond and Pam Ware, Pete Denson, Brand Monty, Taylor Macky, Tommy and Siggie Ballard, Mark Ballard, Terry Payne, Sam Ballard, Milford Morgan, Ronnie Hawkins, the Adult SS Class of Perennial Springs Baptist Church and all of his friends from Pine Ridge Outdoors.

Mr. Anderson will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.  On Monday, Mr. Anderson will be carried to the church, where he will also lie in state from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
