The man arrested for murder in one convenience store shooting and aggravated assault in another last Tuesday has now been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred just two days earlier.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 28-year old Lamar Rashad Nicholson of Redmond Circle shot a 50-year old man in the leg at a location on Wilma Drive on February 4.
Nicholson was charged Monday with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in connection with that shooting.
On February 6, Nicholson shot and killed Parmjit Singh at Hi-Tech Fuel at 500 Burnett Ferry Road and then shot and wounded 30-year old Parthey Patel at Elm Street Food and Beverage at 204 North Elm Street.
Nicholson is also charged with interference with government property and riot in a penal institution after he allegedly damaged the sprinkler head in his jail cell last Wednesday, causing the cell to flood.
