Last week a Summerville man reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department that he was contacted by his insurance company saying that his insurance dues had not been paid.

Anthony J. (A.J.) Stricklin told a deputy that someone an Anthony G. Stricklin had opened an account that was in his name.  According to the report from the sheriff’s office, ” Mr. Anthony G. Stricklin had opened up an account through Mr. AJ Stricklin and had not paid the dues causing Mr. A.J. Stricklin’s account to lapse in coverage.

Mr. A.J. Strickin told the deputy that the account was opened in October of last year and that he was a truck driver and was out of town when the account was opened.

The case was turned over to an investigator.
