The Town of Trion says that the town’s splash pad will open this afternoon at 4 PM.  The splash pad was constructed and opened last year, and is located at the Trion Recreation Department.

Officials with the Town of Trion say that the hours of operation for the Trion Splash Pad will be altered for the first couple of weeks as work continues on a fence around the pad.  Until the work is completed, the pad will be open from 4 PM until 9 PM, Mondays-Saturdays.

After the work is completed, the pad will be open Mondays-Saturdays from 10 AM until 9 PM.

Also, town officials say that parents and children should remain only in the splash pad area due to the construction of a new concession stand and press box at the Trion Recreation Department.
