The Chattooga Indians were hosted by the Trion Bulldogs at Sam R. McCain Stadium in Trion on Friday night in the 9th Annual Trion-Chattooga Scrimmage.   The Bulldogs came out on top in the scrimmage match outscoring the Indians 21-7.

AM 1180’s Ben Groce and Jeremy Burke called the game and began their 10th season broadcasting Trion Bulldogs Football in Chattooga County.  James Baird and Jeremy Burke will be calling the games again this year for the Chattooga Indians.

The Indians and Bulldogs have a couple of weeks off before the regular season begins on August 25th.

Both teams kick off the season at home with the Indians facing Fort Payne and the Bulldogs hosting Lafayette.  AM 1180 will be broadcasting the Trion-Lafayette game on the radio and the Chattooga-Fort Payne game on the web.

Good luck to both teams this season from AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio.
