Coach John Starr, teacher at Chattooga High School, and Billy Dooley, of Truck Town in Summerville, have teamed up once again to bring Christmas to kids in our county through the Christmas Club project and they need your help! Tickets are on sale now for a chance to win $1,000. Tickets are $5 each. Mr. Dooley atTruck Town has graciously donated the $1,000 for the giveaway so that all proceeds from ticket sales can be used benefit the Christmas Club headed up by Starr. The Christmas Club provides clothing, shoes and winter coats along with Christmas toys to school children in our county who are in need. The money will be given away at the October 31st home Chattooga football game. You do not have to be present to win.  "Last year we provided needed winter clothing, shoes and some toys to a little over 400 kids in the county," said Starr regarding the Christmas Club program. He hopes to make the Christmas Club bigger and better this year so that as many kids as possible who are in need are served. Coach starr would like to thank everyone for their support of this program.
