A LAFAYETTE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT FACES CHARGES AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY PULLED A PISTOL ON ANOTHER STUDENT DURING THEIR AFTERNOON RIDE ON THE SCHOOL BUS LAST WEEK.  ACCORDING TO LAFAYETTE POLICE, THE 14 YEAR OLD ACTUALLY PULLED THE TRIGGER ON THE UNLOADED REVOLVER… AFTER ANOTHER STUDENT THREW A TWINKIE CAKE AT HIM. 

THE BUS DRIVER CONTACTED THE SCHOOL… AND OFFICIALS THERE ALERTED POLICE THE NEXT MORNING.  THE JUVENILE, WHO GOT THE GUN FROM HIS HOME, WAS RELEASED TO HIS PARENTS… AND A HEARING HAS BEEN SET.  CHARGES INCLUDE AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A FIREARM ON SCHOOL PROPERTY AND MAKING TERRORISTIC THREATS.  NO ONE WAS HURT.
