AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio spoke with Sheriff John Everett who confirmed that two boys were in the flood waters on Tate Road in the Trion area.

The sheriff said that one boy has been pulled from the flood waters and the second child has not been found.  Sheriffs Department officials along with emergency crews are in boats searching for the second boy.

No word as to why the boys were in the area or the ages of the boys.  It is very important to remember that flood waters should not be approached on foot or in a vehicle.
