The Summerville News is reporting this morning that the investigation into the Election Fraud Case from the 2006 election is coming to a close.  According to the report subpoenas have been sent out to some Chattooga County residents to testify at a September 5th meeting of the Chattooga County Grand Jury regarding the case.  The investigation by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office is a result of a complaint by the Chattooga County Republican Pary during the 2006 election concerning a non-partisan race for State Court Judge which saw the defeat of Sam Finister and the election of Carlton Vines.
