The driver of a tractor trailer truck had to be extricated after his truck hauling a load of wood chips overturned on Highway 100 on Wednesday morning.  The truck overturned near Wildlife Lake Road.  The driver of the truck got his foot trapped under the driver’s seat and could not get out of the overturned truck.  Local firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and Highway 100 had to be closed for a period of time while the emergency workers worked to free the man.  A tow truck from Rome was called in to remove the truck from the scene.
