Entice Adult Superstore in Floyd County is in mediation with the county before their case goes to appeals court. According to the Rome News Tribune Entice owner Charles Cranton is hopeful that a compromise can be reached that would allow the adult store to remain open under a grandfather clause. Floyd County adopted an ordinance regulating sexually oriented business’s about one month after Entice opened it’s doors. Cranton sued the county in order to allow his business to remain open. That law suit was dismissed in U.S. District Court. Floyd County plans to fight to keep the store closed and the owner is committed to re-opening the store. Floyd County Commissioners said that they adopted the ordinance and feel that they have a constitutionally sound ordinance. According to commissioners they received a flood of calls from residents that were concerned about the adult business opening in Floyd County.
