Airline Pilot Bud Gammon from Rome will be opposing U.S. Representative Phil Gingrey in the upcoming Congressional election.

The 57 year old Democrat has announced his intentions to un-seat the three term Republican from Marrietta.  Gammon stated that the issues he is running on are the war in Iraq, the economy, immigration and health care.  Gammon is the only opponent from either party to square off with Gingrey.
