A Crossville, Alabama woman, is reportedly among those recently charged in connection with an undercover operation focusing on the website, craigslist.com –  that investigation by the Calhoun, Georgia Special Operations Division involved an undercover agent, who as a part of the operation, contacted individuals advertising as escorts on Craigslist.

Those arrested included: 34 year old Shannon Marie Richey of Crossville, Alabama; 34 year old Tara Jamison Howard of Carrollton, Georgia; 27 year old Amber Nicole Gaston, 35 year old Corrie Deantre Gillispie, and 48 year old Mark Taylor Farmer, all residents of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

According to authorities those charges ranged from prostitution to pimping.  Sergeant J. Marquez, the Commander of the Calhoun Special Operation Division, said the operation was conducted due to the major problem with prostitution being advertised on craigslist. The five individuals arrested, were reportedly transported to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Department for holding.
