An apartment fire in the McGinnis Circle are in Summerville was apparently caused by a pot of beans left on the stove while the occupent attended Church.  According to reports a neighbor heard the fire alarm going off in the apartment and called 911.  Fire fighters gained entrance into the apartment by busting out a window.  Summerville, Trion and Hays Prison Fire Departments responded.
