With the news on Friday that C&S Construction had secured the proper bonds to begin work on the Cloudland portion of Phase II of the water project, work is expected to being in the next several days.

Phase two is broken down into three parts:  The Valley Portion, Cloudland Portion and Pump Station on Little Sand Mountain.  With the completion of these projects around 80% of Chattooga County’s Residents will have access to county water.

The Valley Portion of Phase II covers these areas:

West Armuchee Road

* Narrows Road

* Subligna Baptist Church Road

* Dry Creek Road

* Haywood Valley Road

* North Little Sand Mountain Road

* Poplar Springs Road

* Silver Hill Road

* White Farm Road

* Worsham Road

* Lick Skillet Road

* Dave Moore Road

* Ga. 100 from Holland-Chattoogaville Road to New Hope South Church Road

* Old Highway Road

* Holland-Chattoogaville Road

The Cloudland Portion of Phase II includes:

 Gilreath Mill Road

* Hwy. 157

* State Line Road

* North Coal Mine Road

* Valley View Ranch Road

* Hidden Brow Road
