Sheriff Ralph Kellet told AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio that the two suspects in the armed robbery of a Chattoogaville store were captured shortly before 10 this morning. The two suspects were on foot since last night.
Officers from the Hays K9 unit tracked the men down in the area of Dovers Cut road. Sheriff Kellett said the two were captured in an open field near the railroad tracks.
The two have been identified as Terry Ivester and Bobby Kellar. It is believed that Ivester has outstanding warrants in Franklin County, Georgia for similar crimes. Kellar has a Walker County Address.
Two others were arrested last night when a Georgia State Patrolman pulled over the car that the store clerk had identified during the robbery. They have been identified as Joshua and Kimberly Weathers of a Trion address.
