There was a armed robbery reported on Darlington Way early Wednesday morning, reports stated.

According to Rome Police reports:

The complainant stated that she was asleep in her bed when a young male entered her unlocked front door. The male was reportedly wearing a black mask made out of cloth over his face and had a chrome automatic pistol.

The complainant was instructed by the male to give him her money. She gave him $280 she had in her bra. The complainant stated that the male then emptied her purse looking for more money.

Police are investigating.
