AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio reported yesterday the arrest of a hispanic man on charges of child molestation.  Chattooga County Sheriff John Everett told AM 1180 on Tuesday afternoon that the man was arrested in Floyd County and was subsequently sent to the Chattooga County Jail on a hold on charges stemming from a 2008 incident at a Summerville motel.

Sherrif Everett said that 34 year old Ernesto Alvardo Guzman of Rome was accused of molesting a female child under the age of 16 and was picked up earlier this week by Floyd County authorities and transported to the Chattooga County Jail.  Guzman is charged with child molestation and aggravated child molestation.
