Sources indicate that the malpractice trial of local Summerville attorney Ben Ballenger could be wrapping up in the next day or so. Final arguments are scheduled to be heard tommorrow morning at the trial which is being held in the Chattooga County Courthouse Annex.
Senior State Court Judge Robert F. McDuff from Cobb County is the judge hearing the case. Sources tell AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio that many of the wittnesses that were called for the case by Mr. Ballenger did not testify.
The case, Emory v. Ballenger centers on a property easement that Mr. Ballenger was working on for Gerald Emory.
