BALLOONS AND TUNES… THAT’S THE TITLE FOR A FESTIVAL COMING TO ROCK SPRING THIS WEEKEND, SPONSORED BY THE WALKER COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.  SEIZING ON THE SUCCESS OF MENLO’S BALLOON FESTIVAL IN CHATTOOGA COUNTY, THE WALKER COUNTY EVENT WILL ADD LIVE MUSIC AND CRAFT AND FOOD VENDORS TO THE 3 DAY FESTIVAL EVENT, PLANNED FOR THIS FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.  

CHAMBER PRESIDENT STEPHANIE SNODGRASS SAID THERE WILL BE 10 HOT-AIR BALLOONS ON HAND… AND SHORT RIDES WILL BE AVAILABLE, WEATHER PERMITTING. 
HEADLINING THE MUSIC IS RISING COUNTRY ARTIST, DAVID NAIL… AND THERE WILL BE 3 STAGES OF ENTERTAINMENT AT THE FESTIVAL.  IT WILL BE HELD AT THE ROCK SPRING INDUSTRIAL PARK OFF HIGHWAY 27, JUST NORTH OF GEORGIA NORTHWESTERN.  GATES OPEN AT 4 PM FRIDAY, AND 7 AM ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.  ADMISSION IS $5 FOR ADULTS AND $3 FOR AGES 7 – 12.
