A Bartow County man was arrested early Sunday on a disorderly conduct charge after he was “howling at the moon,” reports stated.
According to reports from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office:
Alan Rodney Oshields, 36, of a Dallas address, was jailed on the misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct after he was alleged to have been outside of a Waterfront Drive address in Acworth creating a disturbance.
Oshields was then alleged to have wandered to a Mountain Ridge Drive address where he was found by Sheriff’s deputies found him intoxicated and “howling at the moon.”
He told police that he was “howling at the owls” and had been visiting a friend he’d not seen in 15 years for the day and had wandered off during the night.
