Bach Cúc Beef Jerky, Inc. is recalling its 8-ounce packages and 10-pound cases of teriyaki beef jerky products because they contain wheat not listed on the label, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).Wheat is one of eight known allergens required to be listed as an ingredient on a food label.  Anyone concerned about an allergic reaction should contact a physician. The problem was discovered by FSIS during a labeling review at the South El Monte, Calif. establishment. Each Bach Cúc Teriyaki Beef Jerky product bears the establishment number "EST. 18995A" inside the USDA mark of inspection. Produced between Jan. 2010 and Dec. 29, 2010, the products were distributed to retail establishments nationwide. Consumer and media with questions about the recall should contact the company’s President, Hien Pham at (626) 279-5149.
