The Chattooga County Indians “ran” all over the Darlington Tigers in Friday night’s game for a 40-7 win. Though the Tigers scored the first touchdown, it did not take long for the Indians to get in the game. At the end of the first half, the score was 13-7 after Spencer London received a pass in the end zone in the last 23 seconds.
In the second half with a score of 19-7 the tides seemed to be turning as the Tigers recovered a fumble, but to no avail. Olajuwan Blair then added 8 more points to the board after a 15 yard touchdown and conversion pass from Ramsey.
The Indians were able to add to more touchdowns to the score board before the clock ran out at the end of the fourth quarter leaving them with a 40-7 victory under their belt.
Next week the Chattooga Indians will face Alatoona at the Little Big Horn in Summerville. AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will broadcast the game on the web at www.chattoogainfo.com. Join Robert Beech and Ken Bruce for all the play by play action.
