Construction workers at a church in Walker County called animal control on Monday to deal with a bobcat that was at the job site. According to reports the wild cat tried to attack one of the construction workers. Supervisor on the job site, Curtis Patterson, called Walker County Animal Control. When the animal control officers arrived they cornered the bobcat on the porch of the church and the animal tried to attack the animal control officers. In the wild bobcats do not normally attack humans. Officers euthanized the bobcat and it has been sent to Atlanta to be tested for rabies.
