Reportedly, several people who were riding four wheelers in a wooded area, located near the Terrapin Canoe Rental Facility on County Road 175, found the decomposing remains of a body in a vehicle, which was parked down a power line bed some 50 yards back in the woods. Cherokee County Sheriffs Department Investigators and the Cherokee County Coroners Office, along with units from the States Forensic Crime Lab responded to the scene.
