Mt. Vernon Mills in Trion sent out an announcement on Friday morning stating that due to boiler problems at the steam plant the Denim Mill would not operate on Friday night.  All production was stopped at 3:30 on Friday.  According to Mill officials operations will resume on Monday morning September 8th at 7:30 a.m.  Workers are being told if they have any questions to contact their managers.
