AM 1180 Chattooga County radio has learned that two bomb threats have been called into the Chattooga County Courthouse this morning.  According to the information we have at this time, the first threat came in around 9 AM this morning and the second at 10 AM.

State Court arraignments were being held in the main court room of the Chattooga County Courthouse this morning.   The court was cleared after the 9 AM bomb threat and participants were told to be back at 10 AM…..then a second bomb threat was called in, according to reports.

Law enforcement  temporarily shut down West Washington Street on the north side of the courthouse for two blocks due to the threats.
