Commissioner Jason Winters plans to adopt the 2010 budget for Chattooga County this week in a meeting to be held at the commissioner’s office on Wednesday.
The budget for this year is twelve million, three hundred seventeen thousand, eighty dollars ($12,317,080) and comes in under what the county spent in 2009. Commissioner Winters said that he has worked to make sure that the budget is something the county can live with for the next year.
Winters told AM 1180 that he believes revenues will hold up in 2010 to support the budget. Last week a budget hearing was held at the commissioner’s office in Summerville.
