If you have any outdoor burning to do, then you need to get busy this week because Georgia’s annual “burn ban” begins this Friday, May 1^st.  The annual “burn ban” is an attempt to improve Georgia’s air quality.  The ban will last until September 30^th.  If you need to burn outdoor debris then call 1-877-OK2-BURN to obtain a burn permit.  The state forestry department issues burn permits based on weather conditions.
