The Calhoun Special Operations Division recently conducted an undercover operation that involved an undercover agent contacting individuals advertising as escorts on

Immigration Customs Enforcement, Calhoun Police Patrol Division and the Conasauga Safe Streets Task force assisted in the operation.

Arrested were Shannon Marie Richey, 34, of 1018 County Road 156 in Crossville, Ala.; Amber Nicole Gaston, 27, of 2400 Westside Drive in Chattanooga, Tenn.; Tara Jamison Howard, 34, of 117 Old Mill Court in Carrollton; Corrie Deantre Gillispie, 35, of 4611 Mountain View Drive in Chattanooga; and Mark Taylor Farmer, 48, of 5391 Willbanks Drive in Chattanooga.

Charges range from prostitution to pimping.

“This operation was conducted due to the major problem of prostitution being advertised on Craigslist,” said Sgt. J. Marquez, commander of the Calhoun Special Operations Division.

The five individuals arrested were reportedly taken to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Department for holding.
