THE CHATTOOGA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE BASKETBALL GAME THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH, WILL BE CANCER AWARENESS NIGHT. THE STUDENT COUNCIL WILL BE TAKING DONATIONS TO BENEFIT CANCER RESEARCH. THEY WILL HAVE A MEMORY/HONOR BOARD THAT YOU CAN HAVE YOUR LOVED ONE’S NAME ADDED TO FOR A  $1 DONATION. THE BOARD WILL BE DISPLAYED IN THE CHS LOBBY. THE CANCER CENTER FROM FLOYD MEDICAL CENTER WILL BE ON SITE TO GIVE HELPFUL INFORMAITON ABOUT THE EARLY DETECTION AND PREVENTION OF CANCER. BE PREPARED TO DONATE IF YOU CAN AND WEAR PINK TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR THOSE WHO STRUGGLE WITH THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER. GAMES BEGIN AT 4PM STARTING WITH JV GIRLS FOLLOWED BY JV BOYS, VARSITY GIRLS AT APPROXIMATELY 7PM  AND VARSITY BOYS TO FOLLOW.
