A Cartersville man was beaten and robbed by a group of six men over the weekend and Cartersville police have arrested half of the suspects.  30 yr old James Earl Curtis,  22 yr old Odell Lashone Lewis and 31 yr old Willie Edward  Thompson, were charged with robbery and battery in connection with the attack on a 23-year-old victim outside his N. Erwin St. home.  The victim said that the men blocked him from entering his home, at which point several of the suspects restrained the victim while the others beat and robbed him of a paycheck for a little more than $400 and a small amount of cash.  Curtis, Lewis and Thompson were residents of the same area and were apparently identified by the victim.  WRGA
