Floyd County law enforcement is reporting that a Cherokee County,  Alabama man was arrested earlier this week for giving a false name in an effort to try to obtain prescription drugs.

Emanuel Heath Kiser, 32, of 45 County Road in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, was arrested Monday at 10:45 p.m. by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with theft by taking, use of a fictitious name obtaining drugs and obtaining drugs by fraud and forgery. He was booked and released from jail by Tuesday afternoon.
