Luncheon Reminder: Tuesday; May 10, 2011 @ Pop’s Country Buffet @ Noon
We will have Dutch treat buffet available for everyone…no need to RSVP.
Our hearts go out to our neighbors on all sides as they pick up the pieces after Wednesday’s storms.
Our business community has been swamped by those from other counties and states seeking bottled water, gasoline, and groceries. Electricity is said to be as much as a week away for our neighbors in northeast Alabama. All our neighboring county seats are damaged in some way. Trenton, Lafayette,
Rome, and Ringgold have taken hits beyond belief.
We are so richly blessed to have escaped the carnage. We know that many from those same areas came to our rescue when the floods came a couple years back. Everyone is asking what we can do to help? Please share this information with your churches this weekend. We thank you in advance for your response!
