The Chattooga County Board of Education voted in their work session on Monday evening of this week to hold their next monthly meeting at Menlo School.  The meeting will be held this coming Monday, March 8th at 7PM following the Open House at Menlo School.  The Open House is being held to showcase the new addition at Menlo School.

The Board of Education will be hearing a report from Assistant School Superintendent Emily Bolton concerning the possibility of a four day school week as a cost-saving measure for the school system.  One board member told AM 1180 that all possibilities to save money are being looked at and the board will hear facts and figures from other school systems in Georgia that have gone to a four day school week as a result of the drop in funding being felt by school systems state wide.
