The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon was held on Tuesday.  The event was sponsored by the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Six new graduates of Leadership Chattooga were recognized.  Also Cory Hayden of Northwestern Technical College was recognized as the winner of the Georgia Occupational Award for leadership.

Brenda Waltz, CEO of Redmond Regional was the guest speaker.  Several events happening in Chattooga County this week were highlighted at the event, including the Northwest Georgia Balloon Festival in Menlo, the Twisted Ankle Race at Sloppy Floyd Park on Saturday and the Relay for Life happening this Friday in Summerville.
