Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia dodged the severe weather once again Sunday evening.  According to reports several unconfirmed tornadoes were spotted in Floyd and Bartow counties and there were reports of tornadic activity in Cherokee County, Alabama.

AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio received tornado warnings for Cherokee County, Alabama around 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.  Warnings were also issued for Floyd and Polk and Bartow Counties in Georgia.
