Chattooga County was extremely lucky during the past 24 hours. With all the chaos going on around us, Chattooga County sustained no reported damage or injuries.

Agencies throughout the County have offered a helping hand to those counties who were hard hit by last night’s storms.

Chattooga County Public Works, City of Summerville Public Works, Summerville Fire Department, Trion Fire Department and Redmond EMS have all committed resources to assist Catoosa, Dade and Floyd Counties.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who sustained losses as well as those responders involved in incident operations.
