The Chattooga County Health Department will be closed  Tuesday and Wednesday so that employees can conduct an H1N1 Flu Shot clinics in the local school system.

Health Department officials sent home letters to parents concerning the upcoming H1N1 clinics.  Only students with signed permission slips will be given the H1N1 shots.  A spokesperson with the Chattooga County Health Department told AM 1180 last week  that if there are ANY questions regarding any risks to the individual children the shots will not be administered.

The Health Department plans to be in all 8 of the schools in the county this week, covering 4 on Tuesday and 4 on Wednesday.
