Good news for Chattooga County on the jobs front, or at least it appears that way.  Chattooga County only had 86 new jobless claims during the month of September.  That number is down by 13 from the previous month. 

The jobless claims have been going down state-wide as well.  In Walker County intial jobless claims number 412 in September which was down by 184 from August.
