A Chattooga County man was arrested in Rome earlier this week after allegedly taking five digital cameras from the Walmart in West Rome.

According to Floyd County jail reports:

Larry Hayden Harrell, 20, of 464 Dry Creek Road, Summerville, was charged with theft by shoplifting and criminal trespass after he supposedly cut the security devices that are attached to the cameras in the store’s electronic department.

The five cameras were valued at $1,375.

Hayden was booked into the Floyd County jail without bond.
